Field of Glory II: Medieval (v1.5.6 & 5 DLCS) [TorrentX]

Field of Glory II: Medieval is a turn-based tactical wargame set during the High Middle Ages, spanning the years 1040 to 1270 AD—a period marked by the dominance of heavily armored mounted knights and near-constant warfare across Europe. Players command armies drawn from 29 nations and factions, including the Anglo-Saxons, Normans, French, Germans, Scots, Mongols, and many others, each represented by historically accurate orders of battle. The game covers a wide range of historical conflicts, from the struggles between England and France to the Baltic Crusades and Mongol invasions, allowing players to engage in set-piece battles or create custom “what-if” scenarios on realistic, procedurally generated maps. With over 100 fully animated and detailed troop units, the game brings the era’s warfare to life, showcasing dynamic combat where formations, cavalry charges, and tactical decisions shape the outcome. Progression in Field of Glory II: Medieval centers around its campaign system, which emphasizes the importance of each battle without burdening players with a strategic overworld map. Armies gain experience and morale as they achieve victories, and named generals can sway combat effectiveness and unit cohesion. The game offers four historically based campaigns alongside a sandbox mode that lets players pit any two factions against each other, opening up thousands of strategic possibilities. Whether engaging in solo play or multiplayer, players must master diverse unit types, formations, and terrain to outmaneuver their opponents. With multiple difficulty levels, an accessible interface, and modding support including a built-in map editor, Field of Glory II: Medieval delivers a deep, historically rich tactical experience that appeals to both newcomers and veteran wargamers alike.
